Fees and Payment terms

Online registration is required for all conference participants. In order to avoid double charges, please register only ONCE. Early bird fees are available until 15 June 2022. Any registration and payment received after that date will be accepted as regular registration. Confirmation will be sent to all participants to the email address used during the registration by the conference organiser upon receipt of registration fee payment. In case of credit card payment you may also get an email confirmation (system notification) and/or sms text message depending on your service provider.

* Reduced rates for students are available to a limited number of eligible participants. To apply, please submit a letter of reference from your academic supervisor as a proof of student status at the same time when you submit your abstract. Please do not make any payment until you receive confirmation from the organizing committee.

Accompanying persons’ registration fee is not valid for admission to the scientific part of the Conference, and these fees do not include conference materials, only meals and social event (Banquet dinner and river cruise).

to be arranged during the secure online registration. A pro forma invoice should be generated (pdf) in order to arrange the payment. The paid amount should appear in the paid column in case of successful online payment.

We advise you to sign up for the banquet dinner and field trips in advance if you intend to take part, and pay the full amount of invoice in lump sum. After having selected the registration fee, you will be able to do so in the corresponding chapters within the registration system (Optional events / Field trips pages)

In case of on-site registration the fees can be paid in Euro or in Hungarian Forint. Besides, VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard and Maestro cards are be accepted. The organisers regret that cheques and American Express cards cannot be accepted. For further details on online credit card payment, please read our short manual.

Please be aware that inserting the customer's VAT number of the invoice payer (if an organisation, not a private individual) is mandatory. For Hungarian and EU companies and institutions it is a strict obligation. Without providing the proper VAT number, the correct financial invoice cannot be issued. Please avoid changing the invoice address and make sure to provide the final invoice address when registering and creating the Pro Forma invoice. The Final Invoice will be issued to the same customer name. Should you need to indicate PO number or any other element which you are not able to insert yourself, or you would like to split items using different invoice addresses, please consult the conference technical organiser beforehand. Terms and conditions of participation

Advance online registration is a condition of participation in the conference. During the online registration you should accept the terms and conditions of participation as well as the terms of cancellation written on this website. The organisers consider this commitment as a binding written contract. The registration fee/accompanying person’s registration fee may include entertainment allowances, such as catering services, reception, public transport cards, etc. In the final invoice the amount of these services will be indicated as intermediary service. Hotel accommodation orders (if any) are also subject of intermediary service. See also the general terms and conditions here.

Cancellation policy

Refund of the registration fee will be made as follows:

  • 100% refund (minus an administrative fee of 50 Euro) –
    in case of cancellation received before 15 July 2022
  • 50% refund –
    in case of cancellation received before 31 July 2022
  • No refund –
    in case of cancellation, received after 1 August 2022
